radial blossoms

I think I've finally gotten back into my work routine after coming back from my holiday in Bali. This week has been a little busy, so I took an off-day and just stayed home and planned for my Zentangle classes and doing some art.

Here's my entry to Joey's challenge, featuring Merryweather.

And my entry to the Diva challenge:
A quarter slice, in my sketchbook.

And lastly, here's a sequence of tiles that I did as examples for one of my classes.

If you haven't seen it already, I also uploaded a new Draw With Me video on my YouTube channel.

If you'd like, you could also go see my entry to the UOB Painting of the Year competition. :) Thanks for stopping by. I'll see you again next week!

  1. Neat how you went large on the Merryweather for Joey's Challenge I had to look twice! Nice plate for Diva.

    1. And upon me looking at the tile again, I noticed there is a section of the Merryweather that doesn't have that small triangle. :o

  2. Coincidentally, I watched your video a day or so ago and it set me off to try the string rose. I haven't quite got it yet but I am enjoying trying. Of course, it led me on to other videos you have on You Tube and there was another hour gone, lost in Zentangle. What a joy.

    1. That's the wonderful thing about the Internet- there's so much information. But then there's so little time to go through all of it. Hahaha. I'm glad you enjoyed your hour break doing some Zentangle. :)
