  To me, it's a representation of depression. She looks like an average, normal girl. The slashes on her wrist hardly noticeable. The long curtain of beads a beautiful mask for the sadness that exists inside her. Her actual face isn't human anymore, because the demons have taken her soul already. She's just a pretty girl with an empty soul, living a life of cycles of destruction and no one notices because everyone only sees the pretty mask and not the sad eyes.
